Larry McIntyre II   Larry McIntyre II Larry was born and raised in Southern Arizona.  He lives with his wife Laura, and his son, Lawrence III.  Larry has loved and collected Dragons since he was a small boy.  He has always been attracted to the wonderful world of art, and in early 1996, when he got his first tattoo; he was hooked on the skin as a medium.  He has found that niche in life that we all seek.  The one that allows you to have your hobby be your career.  While living in New Mexico, Larry apprenticed with Greg of "The Pierced Buddha" from 1996 to 1998, and then Dragon's Ink was born.  Larry continued traveling and learning new and different techniques until late 2000, when he and his family moved back to their hometown of Tucson Arizona.  Tucson had been in their hearts and minds for five years, and Larry dreamed of opening his own studio as soon as he could.  Starting a new business was no small task, so Larry accepted a position in another shop in Tucson, where he continued to learn and build on his own talents.  With the financial help of close friends, Larry and his dream of Dragon's Ink became a reality much sooner than anticipated, and on November 15th, 2001, Dragon's Ink opened her doors for business.  During the three years that he owned and operated the studio, he apprenticed three successful artists, three successful piercers, and is currently working with another talented apprentice.  Larry has the belief that one never stops learning new things, and strives to be the best that he can be.  He has been OSHA certified as a safety trainer; as well as in medical first aid and blood borne pathogens.  Larry loves to do a custom piece, as it makes it all the more personal to the client.  Give us a call, and see what he can do for you!
